Steven Cash is an Amazon delivery driver in San Antonio, Texas who spends most of his day dropping off packages, moving from door to door.
But one small act during a regular delivery is now being shared all over the internet.

Last week, Steven walked up to a house to drop off a package. He noticed something on the ground—it was the home's Ring doorbell camera.

It had fallen off and was lying face down in the dirt.
“Ah, that’s not where you belong,” he said quietly, crouching down.
Without thinking twice, he picked it up, dusted it off, and gently placed it back in its holder. Then, he gave the camera a little wave before heading back to his van.

He had no idea the camera was still working—and recording.
Later, the homeowner, Kate Rufsvold, checked the footage and was surprised. “Wait... did he just fix that?” she said, watching the video.

She was so touched by the moment that she posted it online, hoping to find the kind stranger.

“He didn’t have to do that,” she said. “It’s just a small thing, but it meant a lot.”
“Does anyone know this Amazon driver?” she wrote on Facebook.
“He just made my day.”

Soon, the video went viral. It caught the attention of Fox San Antonio, and reporter Ryan Wolf stepped in to help track Steven down.
When he finally surprised him with $1,000 as part of their "Cash for Kindness" series, Steven was stunned.
“I was just doing what I thought was right,” Steven said with a shy smile. “I saw the camera on the ground and figured I could help. I didn’t think anyone even noticed.”
