Stories of Reunion that Are Sure to Bring You Tears and Leave You Wanting for More.

In 1988, Mao Yin (2 years old) was abducted and sold to another couple for $845. His biological parents, Li Jingzhi and Mao Zhenjing, spent the next three decades searching for him. His mother would even appear on TV shows, hoping that somehow her son would see her on TV.

In 2020, after 32 years, police managed to get a tip that a man in Sichuan had bought a child in the late 1980s, that resembled Mao.
To confirm his identity, investigators used facial recognition technology and DNA testing , that proved he was indeed the missing son that his parents are desperately looking for.

"This is the best gift I have ever got on Mother’s Day,” said the mother, during a press conference. "I don't want to be separated from him anyone," she said after seeing her long-lost son.

Juanito Jonsson was born in Sweden in 1973, but spent his earliest years in Bolivia, where his missionary parents had moved for work. During that time, his parents hired a young nanny named Ana, who quickly became a central figure in his life.

“She gave me all the love she had for her daughters, and I received it,” Jonsson recalled.

When the family eventually returned to Sweden, Juanito had to say goodbye to Ana. Later, he moved to Spain, where he built a life of his own as a pastor in Málaga, raising three sons. Still, the memory of Ana never left him.

In 2017, Jonsson made the decision to try to find her. With the help of his mother’s contacts, he discovered that Ana was still alive at the age of 79. She was living near the Argentinian border, selling candles to support herself.

Determined to see her again, Jonsson traveled across the world with one of his sons. When Ana saw him for the first time in more than four decades, she immediately recognized him.

“Are you Juanito, the one who used to hug me and say, ‘Ana, my Ana?’” she asked. The two embraced, both overcome with emotion.

Reflecting on the reunion, Jonsson said it taught him an important lesson about gratitude and the value of honoring loved ones while they are still alive.

“Sometimes we say things to people when it’s too late,” he said. “I had an urge in my soul to reconnect and show my appreciation. I’m still trying to process everything that happened, but I know the message is to honor people while they’re here.”

Anais Bordier, 33, was adopted as a baby in South Korea. But she wasn’t aware that she also had a twin sister.

The mystery began to unfold when a co-worker suggested she looked just like a YouTuber and American actress named Samantha Futerman.
After Googling her, Anais discovered that the YouTuber shared the exact same birth date, November 19, 1982. A voice in her head told her: “She’s your twin.”

So she sent Samantha a friend request on Facebook, asking where she was born. After some chatting, they decided to meet in person, without expecting their suspicions to be true.

Both were shocked when they finally met and discovered they were indeed sisters. A DNA sample was later sent to experts in the U.S., confirming they were twins. However, Anais’ birth documents stated that she was born to a single mother and had no siblings. It turns out Anais was raised in Paris, while Samantha grew up in New Jersey after being adopted by her parents.

Talk about solving a family mystery like finding a 13-year-old lost wedding ring on a finger-shaped carrot. Despite this incredible reunion, they were unable to find their biological mother or uncover the reason for their separation at birth.

Their incredible story was later turned into a movie titled "Twinsters" in 2015. And yes, both Anais and Samatha are the lead cast in it.

Based in Texas, Danny Blanton, 51, spends all his day performing the usual, driving people around and ensuring they reach their destination. But things took a different turn just before he made up his mind to quit his job and head home.

On his last batch, a passenger named John Johnson, 60, got into his backseat when he realized there was something familiar about this Uber driver. So he went on to ask the driver his name and said, "I think I know you. You don't know me?"

It took Danny a few moments to realize that the man in the backseat was his long-lost friend. He immediately stopped the car and greeted his friend with the biggest smile.

Danny and John met each other in the late 1990s. Both of them worked together at a nightclub for 20 years before splitting up when their career paths hit crossroads.
