Couple from North Texas Spent 12 years in the Same Booth at Chili’s, Wearing Same Clothes and Having the Same Food

Stephen Friar first met Christina Friar by sending her a friend request on MySpace in 2008 and started messaging her. And she messaged him back. Their love story began and they had their first date at Chili’s after Stephen asked her, “Want to meet at Chili’s?” And the rest is history.

A year later, Stephen thought, “Wouldn’t it be cool if we just went back to the same place and wore the same stuff? I still have the shirt.”
So the adorable couple made it a tradition to enjoy the rest of their anniversaries at the same place, wearing the same outfits, and taking a picture in the same booth.

Two years later, they were engaged. Third year, they had a baby on the way. Next year, baby arrived. By year 10, Christina was pregnant with their fourth child.

It began with the just the two of them. Now they were six of them. “It all built with the first date as the foundation of their relationship.”
“Oh, now I have a baby. Oh, now I'm pregnant again. Oh, I had a little break. Oh, and I'm pregnant again! Just to keep scrolling through cracks me up," said Christina.

“I just imagine our family continuing to grow,” she continued. “Not any more kids but as they get older and taller and stuff. Then I'm like 'Wow, how cool will it be in 25 years when my daughter's husband comes…a big 'ol family. It'll be cool!”
