48-year old jobless Irish lady wins a $46 million jackpot immediately gives it away to her town named Strabane and its people. "I know what it's like to have nothing, that's why I'm giving it away. I can't miss what I never had."

Margaret Loughrey has been unemployed most of her adult life. She says that she knows how to get by the month on a limited budget. She understands the importance of having the right to work, buying a home, running a business, and even working for a living. So she wanted to give a chance for people in her town who are much more talented than herself.

She aimed to create jobs for 17,000 residents living there. So she initially spends $2 million to purchase the town's historic Herdman's Mill, renovate it, and turn it into a leisure spot for locals and tourists. She also bought Strabane's business park and hoped to transform it into a craft village, creating 80 jobs for people.

Margaret is now the boss of nine ventures throughout the town of Strabane, all aimed to give back something to the community.

This is quite unexpected of someone to do, especially when they suddenly win a load of money. But kindness is not beyond our eyes. This police officer did something like this. He told a waitress that if he wins, he will share the lottery money with her. And he kept his promise!

Winning a lottery can also turn your fortune around. But I might have underestimated the extent of it, as in this case where a divorced lottery winner, who not only gets to enjoy his lottery winnings after hitting a rock bottom, but also get his ex-spouse to pay him alimony. She’s clearly not happy about it, but bless his fate.

Now it’s your turn. Would you be kind and send us a moment that made you smile? We might share it on social media!
